Swift Restoration: Power Back in Thane After Storm
Heavy rains and winds in Thane caused a power outage affecting over 28,000 consumers. Damaged lines and transformers were repaired, and power was restored by MSEDCL teams led by Superintending Engineer Vijay Funde. Normalcy was achieved by Wednesday.

In a swift response to severe weather conditions, the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited restored power supply across Thane district after a storm-induced outage.
Over 28,000 consumers were affected as nine high-voltage lines, 24 low-voltage lines, and three transformers sustained damage due to the heavy rains and gusty winds.
The restoration efforts led by Superintending Engineer Vijay Funde saw teams work diligently to normalize supply by Wednesday.
