A devastating road accident occurred on Friday evening in Gwalior city, Madhya Pradesh, resulting in the deaths of Dharmendra Baghel, 27, and his mother, Chameli Baghel, 45. The tragic event unfolded at Niravali Point, where the two were returning home on a motorcycle when a speeding dumper struck them.

The impact of the collision was severe, reportedly hurling the mother and son into the air, leading to fatal injuries. Purani Chhavani police station's SHO, Santosh Yadav, confirmed these unfortunate details while speaking with reporters.

Subsequently, police pursued and detained the dumper driver involved in the incident. Following standard procedure, the victims' bodies were transported to a government hospital for post-mortem examinations. Officials confirmed that the victims were from the Moti Jheel area of Gwalior and a formal case has been registered.
