The blaze was reported at 10.42 am, prompting the deployment of two water tenders, three water bowsers, a skylift, and a quick response vehicle to the university's Sector-16 campus.
Firefighters successfully contained the flames by 11.20 am, officials confirmed, while indicating that cooling operations were ongoing. Thankfully, no injuries have been reported so far, and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
