Overnight, Ukrainian drones targeted the Russian regions of Ryazan and Voronezh, resulting in damage but no reported casualties. Local governors confirmed the incidents on Saturday, noting that a fire erupted on the roof of a multi-storey residential building due to the attack.
Debris from the drones reportedly landed within the premises of 'an industrial facility,' according to Ryazan governor Pavel Malkov. While specific facilities were not named, Ukraine has a history of targeting refineries and other oil-related infrastructure in similar operations.
In Voronezh, a drone strike resulted in damage to a fuel station, a school, and several residential buildings. Meanwhile, Russia's Defence Ministry announced it had successfully shot down 116 Ukrainian drones overnight, amidst intensified drone assaults aimed at Russian oil refineries and facilities.
