Tragic Incident at Jharkhand Power Plant: Lift Malfunction Claims Lives
Two young labourers were killed, and another injured when a lift malfunctioned during construction work at a power plant in Jharkhand. The victims, Sadique and Ishtkar, were involved in ceramic brick lining when the lift failed, causing them to fall. The injured were taken to MGM hospital but succumbed to their injuries.

In a tragic event at an under-construction power plant in Jharkhand's Ghatsila subdivision, two labourers lost their lives when a lift they were working on malfunctioned. The victims, Sadique and Ishtkar, were in their mid-20s and were engaged in ceramic brick lining.
According to police reports, the lift developed a technical snag while carrying the workers. As a result, all three men fell, but one managed to cling to a wire and survive. The injured worker was transported to MGM hospital for treatment.
Sadly, despite medical efforts, Sadique and Ishtkar could not survive their grievous injuries and succumbed at the hospital. Authorities are investigating the incident further to determine the cause of the lift failure.
