In a tragic event at an under-construction power plant in Jharkhand's Ghatsila subdivision, two labourers lost their lives when a lift they were working on malfunctioned. The victims, Sadique and Ishtkar, were in their mid-20s and were engaged in ceramic brick lining.

According to police reports, the lift developed a technical snag while carrying the workers. As a result, all three men fell, but one managed to cling to a wire and survive. The injured worker was transported to MGM hospital for treatment.

Sadly, despite medical efforts, Sadique and Ishtkar could not survive their grievous injuries and succumbed at the hospital. Authorities are investigating the incident further to determine the cause of the lift failure.
