The Delhi Jal Board is undergoing a major transition by incorporating 600 electric water tankers to address air pollution and enhance the distribution of water, officials announced Wednesday.
During a board meeting, Delhi water minister Parvesh Verma highlighted that this initiative is not just temporary but a fundamental change intended to curb the unchecked water market.
The Yamuna's rejuvenation received a boost with the approval of a Decentralized Sewage Treatment Project in Zindpur, aiming to serve over 4.17 lakh people by intercepting and treating waste scientifically.
