Chief Minister Rekha Gupta has inaugurated a new multi-level parking facility at Nehru Place district centre, marking a significant step in addressing Delhi's parking challenges. Gupta praised the effective coordination between Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena, and local government officials, attributing Delhi's development progress to their collaborative efforts. She noted that past administrations lacked such cooperation, leading to missed opportunities.
The new parking structure, built at a cost of Rs 60 crore, features six levels and aims to address one of the city's pressing issues - insufficient parking space. Lt Governor Saxena, present at the inauguration, was commended for his guidance and support of the project.
