Patel Engineering Bags Renuka Ji Dam Mega Project

Patel Engineering has secured a Rs 910 crore contract for the Renuka Ji Dam project in Himachal Pradesh. The project, which includes constructing diversion tunnels and access roads, aims to bolster India's water security and renewable energy efforts. Completion is expected within 30 months.

Patel Engineering has been awarded a lucrative contract worth Rs 910 crore by the Himachal Pradesh government for the Renuka Ji Dam project, aimed at enhancing India's water security and renewable energy infrastructure.

The project, situated at Dadahu village in Sirmaur district, was officially awarded to Patel Engineering by Himachal Pradesh Power Corporation Limited (HPPCL). The company emerged as the preferred bidder after initially being named the L1 bidder.

In this ambitious undertaking, Patel Engineering will construct three major diversion tunnels along with essential infrastructure such as roads and advanced hydro-mechanical systems. The project is scheduled for completion within 30 months.
