Gadkari reviews quality, maintenance status of NH projects in Goa

New Delhi, Apr 29 ( PTI) Union Minister Nitin Gadkari on Wednesday assessed the quality and maintenance status of 288 km spanning 26 National Highway projects in Goa, taking into account inputs received through media and social media, at a review meeting. According to an official statement, Gadkari underscored the importance of expediting field-level works, ensuring rigorous quality checks, and adopting improved construction methodologies to extend asset longevity and deliver a smoother travel experience. He further directed officials to initiate pre-monsoon preparedness, including drainage clearance, slope stabilisation, and swift response arrangements to minimise disruptions and safeguard commuters.
