Bengaluru Storm: A City in Turmoil
On Wednesday evening, a devastating storm hit Bengaluru, leaving 10 people dead and causing significant disruptions. The combination of heavy rain, hail, and winds uprooted trees, flooded roads, and caused fatal accidents, including wall collapses and electrocutions. Civic agencies are working tirelessly to clear debris and restore normalcy.

The city of Bengaluru faced significant adversity on Wednesday evening as a ferocious storm swept through its streets. At least 10 people have been reported dead due to incidents related to the downpour, authorities confirmed on Thursday.
A combination of heavy rainfall, hailstorms, and strong winds uprooted trees and flooded key parts of the city, bringing traffic to a standstill. Seven fatalities occurred when a hospital wall collapsed amid the storm. Additional tragic incidents involved electrocutions and structural damages that claimed lives.
Civic authorities are actively engaged in clearing the immense debris, which includes over 87 uprooted trees and 131 broken branches, disrupting the daily proceedings of the city. With restoration efforts ongoing, officials remain on high alert as more rain is predicted in the coming days.
