This newly designated zone spans 326.69 square kilometers and is designed to manage human activities and offer 'shock absorbers' for the protected area.
The ministry's draft notification seeks public opinion over the next 60 days and prohibits industrial activities within the zone to preserve its rich biodiversity and ecological balance.
