Tragedy Strikes: Construction Collapse Claims Life of Worker
A laborer lost his life and another was injured after a soil and construction material collapse at an under-construction building in Vibhutikhand. Authorities launched a rescue operation, but Laxmi Shankar Awasthi succumbed during treatment, while Tulsiram was discharged after minor injuries.

A laborer tragically died, and another sustained injuries following the collapse of soil and construction material in the basement of an under-construction commercial building, police confirmed on Thursday.
The fatal accident occurred near the NTPC building on IGP road at around 10 am, under Vibhutikhand police station jurisdiction.
Emergency services, including police, fire service, and the SDRF, were promptly dispatched to the scene. Two trapped workers were rescued and rushed to Dr Ram Manohar Lohia Institute of Medical Sciences. Regrettably, Laxmi Shankar Awasthi succumbed to his injuries during treatment. Meanwhile, Tulsiram suffered only minor injuries and was discharged following primary medical care.
