Weather Whirlwind: Uttarakhand Faces Rain, Hail, and Snow

Significant weather events impacted Uttarakhand on Thursday, as reported by the meteorological centre. Various areas faced rain, hail, and even snowfall in the Pithoragarh district's upper reaches.
Mussoorie, a renowned hill station, recorded 52.3 mm of rain and a hailstorm, while other regions like Jainti in Almora saw 31.5 mm of rainfall. Despite ongoing downpours, officials expect small variations in recorded figures. Tehri and Dehradun also experienced notable rainfall.
Looking ahead, the state might see isolated rain and snowfall in high-altitude areas. A thunderstorm alert with possible gusty winds has been issued. Temperatures, currently below average, are forecasted to increase across Uttarakhand soon.
