Amaravati's Promise: Farmers Fuel Development with Land Contributions

On Friday, Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu highlighted the importance of land acquisition for development at a public meeting in Pamidimukkala village, Krishna district. Addressing the crowd while commemorating May Day and observing 'Pedala Sevalo' programs, Naidu underscored Amaravati as a model for successful development.
The Chief Minister revealed that 29,000 farmers voluntarily contributed 33,000 acres under a land pooling model, facilitating the construction of a greenfield capital city. Naidu further announced projects such as an inner right road in Amaravati and welcomed significant investments in technology, including a $15 billion Google AI data center.
Accusing the YSRCP of hampering progress, Naidu criticized its leadership. He also outlined various welfare programs, notably a labor welfare initiative costing Rs 615 crore and monthly welfare pensions for 62.4 lakh people. Infrastructure goals include completing Bandar Port by December while establishing labor addas across the state for improved working conditions.
