Amaravati: Building a Legacy of Growth and Culture

During the 60th Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority meeting, Naidu stressed the importance of infrastructure and cultural integration in the capital city’s development, with projects focusing on economic and educational investments.

In a bid to transform Amaravati into a vibrant economic hub, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has called for advanced infrastructure initiatives to be accelerated. Chairing the 60th session of the Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority (APCRDA), he highlighted the importance of incorporating Telugu cultural elements into all constructions.
The Chief Minister emphasized the need for Amaravati to attract investments with striking, iconic buildings. Naidu's strategic plan involves building a rapid infrastructure network, including an iconic bridge linking Amaravati and Vijayawada, and a dedicated financial district to host major banks and financial institutions.
In a significant move, the 60th CRDA meeting approved substantial projects valued at billions of rupees. Notable among these are the Rs 1,208.41 crore allocation for Twin Towers in Quantum Valley and major investments for the Secretariat. The meeting also underscored the commencement of admissions at the new BITS Pilani campus by 2027, enhancing the region's educational landscape.
