Land Development Dispute Leads to Shocking Murder Revelation After 12 Years
Police from Kalyan district have arrested three individuals, including a known criminal, for the abduction and murder of a man over a land development dispute dating back 12 years. Developer Surendra Patil and his associates allegedly killed Karan Arvind Bagul, whose case had gone cold since 2014.

In a breakthrough, Kalyan Police have detained three individuals, including a notorious criminal, implicated in the 2014 kidnapping and murder of a 23-year-old man, allegedly due to a land development disagreement. Officials reported the arrest on Thursday.
The victim, Karan Arvind Bagul, a resident of Davdi village, disappeared on October 4, 2014. His lifeless body was discovered in a jungle in Murbad, but the crime remained unresolved until now.
Inspector Ajit Shinde revealed that recent intelligence led to the arrest of developer Surendra Pandurang Patil, alongside his associates, Chandrakant Balaram Gaiker and Suresh Gopal Degavat alias Chotu. A financial clash over land development with Patil is believed to have sparked the incident.
