On Tuesday, parts of Rajasthan were drenched by moderate to heavy rainfall, coupled with thunderstorms and gusty winds, as reported by the weather department.
From 8.30 am to 5.30 pm, Bhilwara experienced 32 mm of rain, followed by 24.2 mm in Churu. Other significant rainfalls include 11.6 mm each in Kota and Fatehpur, and 11 mm in Pali.
The showers have contributed to a dip in maximum temperatures across the state. Although Barmer was the hottest city at 41.7 degrees Celsius, the maximum temperature in many regions was 1 to 6 degrees below normal, easing the heat.
