Tragic Collapse in Telangana: Farmers' Shelter Falls Victim
Four farmers were killed and three others injured when tin sheds collapsed in Luxettipet mandal, Mancherial district, Telangana, due to heavy rain and strong winds. In a tragic turn of events, four farmers lost their lives while three others sustained injuries following the collapse of tin-roofed sheds in Mancherial district, Telangana. The incidents were reported in Luxettipet mandal as unseasonal rains and strong winds battered the area.
Officials stated that the fatalities occurred in separate villages. In Kothuru, two individuals perished when their temporary shelter gave way. Meanwhile, in Gampalapalli, another two succumbed to a similar structural failure.
Authorities indicated that the adverse weather conditions likely compromised the integrity of these shelters, leading to the collapses. A detailed investigation continues, while the injured have been moved to a hospital in Karimnagar. Meanwhile, assessment efforts are underway in the affected regions.
