Delhi Mayor Pravesh Wahi took decisive action by inspecting the sanitation conditions in northwest Delhi's Badli area on Monday. Expressing concern over poor sanitation, he directed officials to clear garbage and debris, emphasizing the importance of cleanliness.
During an inspection in the Civil Lines Zone, Mayor Wahi engaged with local residents and reviewed civic amenities. He personally supervised debris removal, reiterating that negligence towards public services will not be tolerated. The mayor stressed that maintaining cleanliness is a primary responsibility of the municipal corporation.
To further involve the public, Mayor Wahi appealed to shopkeepers to place dustbins outside their premises. He highlighted ongoing city-wide inspections by the Municipal Corporation of Delhi aimed at strengthening sanitation systems. The inspection was attended by MLA Deepak Chaudhary, Councillor Gayatri Yadav, and senior civic officials.
