In a push to transform border villages, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha visited Trehgam in Kashmir's Kupwara district, emphasizing the government's commitment to comprehensive growth. Highlighting the Central government's mission, Sinha inaugurated projects focusing on education, tourism, and infrastructure development.

Under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership, efforts aim to equip villages with essential amenities, like schools, roads, and market access for farmers. Sinha noted Trehgam's strides in self-employment, while the Sharda Temple's revival boosts tourism, attracting thousands more visitors annually.

Connectivity has significantly improved, with most households now having power and telecom services. To ensure ongoing progress, projects are funded by Corporate Social Responsibility and government schemes, covering every Vibrant Village phase 2 program pillar, from roads to cottage industries.
