The altercation began on May 16 at DDA Flats in Satyam Enclave following a disagreement between neighbors over a cherished parking spot. According to police sources, the complainant accused his neighbor of parking at a spot the complainant's family had used for years.
Attempts to mediate the situation through the Residents Welfare Association (RWA) failed, leading to the accused allegedly assaulting the complainant and his family.
