Authorities confirmed that multiple people suffered chemical burns after a tank containing a hazardous solution ruptured around 7:15 a.m. Emergency services coordinated with local fire departments and the packaging facility to manage the crisis swiftly.

PeaceHealth St. John Medical Center in Longview treated nine patients. Among them, one succumbed to their injuries, six were reported in fair condition, and two were transferred for further medical attention.
