Koala Bear Breaks into Car

A winemaker was in for a surprise when he found a Koala bear sitting in the back seat of the car. Tim Whitrow, from South Australia, said he had stopped to sample some grapes when he saw the Koala making itself at home in his vehicle. Whitrow said the flurry marsupial was hesitant to leave the air-conditioned comfort of the car.

"This is what happens when you leave your car doors open in a vineyard!"

Whitrow made a video of the incident and shared it with a local media outlet. In the video, he can be heard pleading with the creature. He then gave it a gentle nudge but was confronted with an angry swipe from the Koala. It then climbed onto the dashboard.

The winemaker finally managed to get the Koala out of the car. But in the process, it left gouge marks across the dashboard. "It was definitely a chilled Koala. I had to grab it by the scuff of the neck and literally pull it off the dash to take it out of the car," Whitrow said.

He added he was blessed with the experience.
