A strong Earthquake of magnitude 6.6 shakes Samar in the Philippines. According to eyewitness, earthquake strikes 222 km North East of Cebu City today around 1:37 PM. The earthquake of tectonic origin had a depth of 17 km.
Yesterday on April 22, an earthquake of 6.4 magnitudes struck the central Philippines. The quake struck 60 km (37 miles) northwest of Manila at a depth of 40 km (25 miles).
No Casualties and damage have been reported so far and as per sources, no initial report of tsunami is expected.
