Strong earthquake hits New Zealand; most felt reports from Milford Sound, Queenstown

An earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 5.4 has shaken various parts of New Zealand. Most of the felt reports are being received from Queenstown, Arrowtown, Milford Sound and other parts of South Island. The epicenter of the quake was located around 75 km northwest of Queenstown at a depth of 15 km.
Felt reports being posted on Twitter suggest that it was a "very strong" earthquake and was followed by a number of aftershocks.
There have been no reports on injuries or damage in New Zealand yet.
