The Los Angeles Dodgers placed left-handed pitcher Alex Wood on the 10-day disabled list with left adductor tendinitis on Saturday.

Wood, 27, started Friday night against the Houston Astros, yielding two runs (one earned) on four hits with four strikeouts in six innings.

Wood is 7-6 with a 3.58 ERA in 22 starts this season. He is 50-39 with a 3.26 ERA in 161 career games since his debut in 2013 with the Atlanta Braves, the only other team he's pitched for.

To fill Wood's roster spot, the Dodgers activated lefty reliever Zac Rosscup from the 10-day DL. He missed 10 games with left middle finger inflammation.

Rosscup, 30, has made four relief appearances, facing just four batters this season since being claimed off waivers from the Colorado Rockies on July 11. He walked one and hasn't allowed a hit for the Dodgers.
