Bills RB McCoy settles eviction process with ex-girlfriend

The ex-girlfriend of Buffalo Bills running back LeSean McCoy is no longer living in his Atlanta-area home after the two sides finalized an eviction agreement on Tuesday, according to multiple reports.

Delicia Cordon will be accompanied to the home by a sheriff's deputy to retrieve personal items as part of the agreement.

Cordon filed a personal injury lawsuit on Friday against McCoy and Porter.

In the civil suit filed in Fulton (Ga.) County Court, McCoy, and Porter are accused by Cordon of being responsible for the attack that occurred while she was sleeping in the home.

The civil suit claims that McCoy should be held financially liable for Cordon's injuries because he had changed the security codes to the home and refused to provide the information to her. The suit says McCoy "breached his duty to use ordinary care" to protect Cordon.

The suit seeks damages of $133,000 in stolen jewelry and $13,000 in furniture allegedly taken by McCoy and his family on June 1 and not returned.

The lawsuit doesn't directly accuse McCoy or Porter of conducting or ordering the attack against Cordon. But it claims McCoy had "actual and constructive knowledge of criminal activity existing on the property on July 10, 2018," because Porter previously told police he could watch a live feed of the security cameras inside the house.

McCoy has previously denied the allegations made by Cordon.

Last week, McCoy expressed confidence that the Bills are backing him "110 percent" and that he will play in the regular-season opener Sept. 9 at Baltimore. McCoy was in uniform but did not play in Thursday night's 28-23 loss to the Carolina Panthers.

A nine-year NFL veteran, McCoy will be playing in his fourth season in Buffalo. The 30-year-old rushed for 1,138 yards and gained another 448 receiving yards in 2017 while scoring eight total touchdowns.
