Former Oakland Raiders wide receiver Bryant facing one-year suspension

Former Oakland Raiders wide receiver Martavis Bryant is reportedly facing a year-long suspension for another violation of the NFL's substance-abuse policy.

Bryant has been suspended twice and in the offseason was released by the Raiders before ever playing a game with the franchise. Oakland traded a third-round draft pick -- No. 79 overall -- to the Pittsburgh Steelers to add Bryant during the NFL draft.

ESPN first reported Sunday that Bryant was likely to be suspended for a full year, with a ruling from the league expected as soon as this week.

Bryant, 26, was suspended for the 2016 season for violating the NFL's substance-abuse policy.

He caught 50 passes with the Steelers in 2017.
