Loose forward Sean McMahon will play his first test in four years, and 38-year-old prop Greg Holmes will become the oldest Wallaby to play a test since World War Two, as Australia look to finish the Rugby Championship with another win over Argentina. Flanker McMahon and tighthead Holmes have been named on the bench for the clash on the Gold Coast where the Wallabies will seek their fourth consecutive win.
"Both Greg and Sean have worked extremely hard on the field and around their detail off the field and they’re both super excited to represent their country again on Saturday evening," coach Dave Rennie said in a team release. Australia had a convincing 27-8 win over Argentina in Townsville last weekend to claim three test wins in a row for the first time in four years.
Victory on Saturday would ensure they finish second in the behind the All Blacks, who wrapped up the title with a tight win over South Africa in Townsville.
