The much-awaited match Australia vs India T20 is slated to commence at 1:20 pm IST on November 21. The individual form for India’s batsmen is expected to be applied rightly on time, for instance, the top five T20 run-scorers for the year, Shikhar Dhawan (second position) and Rohit Sharma (fourth position) will be the openers. Apart from Virat Kohli, Dhawan is also being started considering Mr Consistent mainly for hitting five 50s from 15 innings among his 572 runs, whose strike rate stands at 141.58. On the other hand, Sharma is now considered one of the most creative centurions in the format’s brief international history.

According to Jason Gillespie, a former Australian cricketer who played all three formats of the game, believes “this is India’s best chance to win their maiden Test series Down Under.” According to the 43-year old Gillespie, “India has already suffered series defeats in both England and South Africa in the last 12 months, but there is a feeling that they can capitalize on the uncertainty surrounding Australian cricket at the moment.”

“I certainly believe India start favourites. Australia hasn’t been at their very best at their very best as there has been a lot going on at the moment. We’re missing a few key players at the moment. On the other hand, India is very strong and led well by Virat Kohli. I think India has more clarity on what their best team is but Australia still don’t know what their best XI is,” Gillespie said in a conversation to TOI.
