Indian Olympians Receive Extensive Support for Paris Games

The Indian Olympic Association, along with the Wrestling Federation of India, has pledged extensive support to six wrestlers qualified for the Paris Olympics. The initiative, backed by IOA president PT Usha, aims to ensure peak performance through a dedicated support team including coaches, physiotherapists, and mental-conditioning coaches.

The Indian Olympic Association (IOA) has announced extensive support for the six wrestlers who have qualified for the upcoming Paris Olympics. Aiming to ensure peak performance, the IOA, along with the Wrestling Federation of India (WFI), has accepted Vinesh Phogat's request for additional aid.

The qualified wrestlers include Vinesh Phogat (50kg), Antim Panghal (53kg), Anshu Malik (57kg), Nisha Dahiya (68kg), and Reetika Hooda (76kg) in the women's category, alongside Aman Sehrawat (57kg) in the men's.

IOA President PT Usha emphasized that the support would include a robust team of coaches, physiotherapists, nutritionists, and mental-conditioning coaches. WFI President Sanjay Singh reiterated the commitment to ensure that athletes like Vinesh Phogat receive the essential training support, aiming for excellence on the global stage.
