Suryakumar Yadav Shines as India Dominate Afghanistan in T20 World Cup Opener

Suryakumar Yadav played fearlessly to score 53 off 28 as India achieved a commanding 47-run victory over Afghanistan in the T20 World Cup Super 8 opener. Jasprit Bumrah and Kuldeep Yadav excelled in bowling, while Rashid Khan's strong performance was in vain.

India started their T20 World Cup Super 8 campaign with a dominant 47-run victory over Afghanistan, thanks to a stellar performance from Suryakumar Yadav, who blasted 53 runs off 28 balls on a tough batting surface. Opting to bat first, India posted 181 for 8, mainly through quick contributions from Hardik Pandya and Rishabh Pant.

Afghanistan's batting lineup crumbled under India's clinical bowling. Jasprit Bumrah was exceptional, taking 3 wickets for just 7 runs in his four overs, while Kuldeep Yadav chipped in with two crucial wickets. Despite Rashid Khan's impressive figures of 3 for 26, Afghanistan couldn't mount a significant chase and were bowled out for 134.

With this win, India set the tone for their next Super 8 fixture against Bangladesh, creating excitement and anticipation among fans.
