Tyrrell Hatton Triumphs: Dominates LIV Golf Nashville Event

Tyrrell Hatton clinched his first victory since 2021, winning the inaugural LIV Golf Nashville event with a stunning six-stroke lead. Hatton's performance included eight birdies, and his win also contributed to Legion XIII's team title. The next LIV Golf event is set for July in Spain.

Tyrrell Hatton emerged victorious at the inaugural LIV Golf Nashville event, outpacing Jon Rahm and Bryson DeChambeau to clinch his first win since January 2021 in Abu Dhabi. Starting with a three-stroke lead, Hatton secured a six-stroke triumph with a six-under 65 at The Grove.

The Englishman, boasting eight birdies and two bogeys, finished at 19-under 194, navigating the final holes without glancing at the leaderboard until the 17th green. “It was nice to play the last few holes and it not be super tight,” Hatton remarked, reflecting on his long-awaited victory.

This marked Hatton's ninth appearance in LIV Golf, his best previous finish being a tie for fourth. His win not only awarded individual glory but also secured the third team title for Legion XIII, with captain Rahm shooting a 68. The Spaniard, battling back from a foot infection, saw his hopes dashed after a double bogey on the sixth hole. The next LIV Golf event is slated for July 12-14 at Real Club Valderrama in Spain.
