Naib’s antics, which transpired during the 12th over amid looming rain, left Marsh in stitches. His drama, although not affecting the game’s outcome, provided comic relief. 'At the end of the day, it had no bearing on the game. So, we can laugh about it now – but, gee, it was funny. It was outstanding,' Marsh shared with cricket.com.au.

Afghanistan's victory, which saw Naib later contributing energetically without any sign of cramps, resulted in Australia’s premature exit from the World Cup.
