Beauden Barrett emerged from the bench to inspire the All Blacks to a thrilling 24-17 win over England in Auckland on Saturday, ensuring a 2-0 series victory and preserving their 30-year unbeaten streak at Eden Park.

Barrett set up the second try for winger Mark Tele'a in the 61st minute, just as England threatened to end New Zealand's unbeaten run. Flyhalf Damian McKenzie added a crucial penalty with five minutes left, sealing the win for the home team despite a strong challenge from England.

“It was a proper test match and we expected nothing less from a classy side,” Barrett said. “So proud of the boys for showing belief and finishing it off.”
