Indian para athletes are gearing up to surpass their previous best performance by aiming for more than 25 medals at the Paris Paralympics, announced PCI President Devendra Jhajharia on Friday.

At the delayed Tokyo Paralympics, Indian athletes made history by winning 19 medals, including five golds. This year, their slogan is 'Abki Baar 25 Paar,' aiming to exceed the 25-medal mark.

Jhajharia, a three-time Paralympic medallist, emphasized that the athletes are well-prepared both physically and mentally, benefitting from India's TOPS scheme. The Paris Paralympics are set to begin on August 28.
