India's women's cricket team posted a historic 201 for five against UAE in the Asia Cup, thanks to impressive performances by Harmanpreet Kaur and Richa Ghosh. Kaur anchored the innings with a crucial partnership, while Ghosh's swift 64 not out solidified India's position. UAE fell short at 123 for 7.

Anchoring the innings with a crucial fifty, skipper Harmanpreet Kaur focused on 'rotating the strike' as India recovered to post a match-winning 201 for five against UAE on Sunday in the women's Asia Cup.

After India was reduced to 52 for 3, Kaur (66 off 47 balls) formed two vital partnerships—54 runs with Jemimah Rodrigues and 75 with Richa Ghosh, who remained unbeaten at 64—to set a commanding total.

In response, UAE managed just 123 for 7. Kaur credited the performance to strategic batting and emphasized running hard over risky shots. Richa Ghosh’s knock, which helped India score their first-ever 200-plus total in T20 cricket, earned her Player of the Match honors. UAE skipper Esha Rohit Oza acknowledged the match as a valuable learning experience for her team.
