Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has dismissed rumors linking Kevin De Bruyne with a move to Saudi Arabia. Speaking at North Carolina State University ahead of their U.S. tour match against Celtic, Guardiola confirmed that the Belgian midfielder will remain with the club, despite his contract expiring in 2025.

'Kevin is not going,' Guardiola stated firmly. 'I am delighted with the squad for many years. If someone leaves, we will talk about that, but 85-95% of the squad will stay the same. We have made significant impacts in the market, and the quality we have is difficult to replace.'

City recently signed 20-year-old Brazilian winger Savinho, and Kalvin Phillips is back training with the first team after his loan to West Ham United. Guardiola added, 'Many players want to come here, but we didn’t get agreements from the clubs. Starting the Premier League title defence at Chelsea on Aug. 18, we are prepared.'
