As the Paris Olympics 2024 approaches, Indian swimmer Dhinidhi Desinghu is gearing up for her debut in the world's largest sporting event. Expressing her excitement ahead of Sunday's 200m freestyle race, Desinghu stated, 'I'll be swimming against numerous amazing athletes. I'm excited to see what I can accomplish. This won't be my last Olympics, so there's a long journey ahead.'

Meanwhile, Srihari Nataraj, representing India in his second Olympics, shared his composed outlook. 'Being here in the Olympic village is a dream come true. This time, I'm a more mature swimmer compared to previous years. I've gained a better understanding of the sport and my own capabilities,' he remarked.

India's contingent for Paris 2024 is led by badminton star PV Sindhu and table tennis veteran Sharath Kamal. Neeraj Chopra fronts a 29-member athletics team, while a record 21-member shooting team aims to make history.
