Indian shooters Arjun Babuta and Ramita Jindal narrowly missed advancing to the final stages in the 10m air rifle mixed team event at the Paris Olympics. The pair finished in sixth place with a total of 628.7 points, just one point shy of Germany, who clinched the fourth spot.

"We did whatever we could, strategized everything. We followed our routine and process," Arjun Babuta told ANI. "We missed it by a slight margin but have individual matches to look forward to." Despite the setback, Babuta expressed satisfaction with their dedication and effort, emphasizing the team's potential for future success.

Ramita Jindal highlighted their training regimen, aiming to take maximum shots in minimal time. "I was not looking at the score, I try to give my best and stay in the moment," she said. India’s shooting team head coach Suma Shirur also voiced her confidence in the athletes, acknowledging their near-miss and predicting stronger performances in upcoming events.
