Telangana BJP president and Union Minister for Coal and Mines, G. Kishan Reddy, has expressed his heartfelt wishes to the 2024 Indian Olympic contingent, highlighting their dedication and the pride of 1.4 billion Indians. Speaking to the media, Reddy stated that the athletes' hard work and spirit bring immense honor to the nation.

The contingent, gathered in Paris, symbolizes 'Ek Bharat Shreshth Bharat,' reflecting a young and aspirational India. Last year, India secured a record 107 medals at the Asian Games, and the world is now looking at India's rising potential. Government initiatives like Khelo India and the Target Olympic Podium Scheme are creating an expansive ecosystem for future athletes, ensuring they have the necessary facilities and opportunities.

Under schemes like TOPS, the specific needs of athletes striving for medals are meticulously addressed. For instance, a team of specialists is aiding badminton star P.V. Sindhu's quest for a third Olympic medal. Additionally, specialized equipment and support are being provided to other athletes to ensure they are well-prepared for their events. The government, under Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is making significant strides by establishing institutions like the National Sports University in Manipur and promoting traditional Indian sports, thereby nurturing talent across the nation.
