Jon Rahm Clinches First LIV Golf Victory with Dramatic Finish

Jon Rahm secured his first victory in the Saudi-funded LIV Golf tour at JCB Golf & Country Club. Rahm won by one stroke after teammate Tyrrell Hatton bogeyed the final hole. Rahm finished at 13 under, overcoming a season-long foot problem. Both Rahm and Hatton led Legion XIII to the team title.

Jon Rahm secured a dramatic victory in the LIV Golf UK event, marking his first win on the Saudi-funded tour. His teammate, Tyrrell Hatton, three-putted the final hole for a bogey, handing Rahm a one-stroke advantage.

Rahm finished with a 4-under 68, completing the tournament at 13 under par at the JCB Golf & Country Club. He finished just ahead of Hatton, who shot a 69, and season points leader Joaquin Niemann, who posted a 65.

Reflecting on the win, Rahm said, “Finally got one done. You never want to get those feelings to go on for too long, and to get over the hump feels incredible.” This victory marks Rahm's first since winning the 2023 Masters and comes despite a foot problem that has plagued him this season. Both Rahm and Hatton led their team, Legion XIII, to the overall team title.
