India's Prithviraj Tondaiman Shines with Near-Perfect Scores
Prithviraj Tondaiman of India impressed with perfect scores in the final two rounds but finished 21st in the men's trap shooting qualifiers. Competing at the Chateauroux Shooting Centre, Tondaiman scored 118 out of 125 across five rounds, missing out on the finals as only the top six qualified.
India’s Prithviraj Tondaiman displayed remarkable skill on Tuesday, shooting a perfect 25 in his final two rounds of the men’s trap shooting qualification event, held at the Chateauroux Shooting Centre. Despite his impressive performance, Tondaiman finished 21st overall.
The 37-year-old shooter completed the qualification rounds with a total score of 118 out of a possible 125. His scores across the five rounds were 22, 25, 21, 25, and 25, respectively. The first day of qualification saw him placed 30th after achieving scores of 22, 25, and 21.
In a field of 30 competitors, only the top six qualify for the finals, leaving Tondaiman just short of the cut-off despite his near-perfect effort in the last rounds.
