Sri Lanka Announces Squad for ODI Series Against India
Sri Lanka has named their 16-member squad for the three-match ODI series against India, starting August 2. Senior all-rounder Chamika Karunaratne and young batters Janith Liyanage and Nishan Madushka are included. Sports Minister Harin Fernando has approved the squad. Matches will be held at the Premadasa Stadium.
Sri Lanka has unveiled its 16-member squad for the upcoming three-match ODI series against India, commencing on August 2. The squad features senior all-rounder Chamika Karunaratne alongside promising young batters Janith Liyanage and Nishan Madushka.
The squad received approval from Minister of Sports and Youth Affairs, Harin Fernando. The series will be played on August 2, 4, and 7 at the Premadasa Stadium in Colombo.
Liyanage and Madushka, who have previously played 9 ODIs and 8 Tests respectively, join notable players such as Charith Asalanka (captain) and Kusal Mendis in the national team line-up.
