After Swapnil secured a bronze in the 50m rifle 3 positions event at the Paris Games, his parents, Suresh and Anita Kusale, spoke of the sacrifices made over the last decade. Suresh, a school teacher, said, 'It was his sheer hard work and determination that paid off today.'

Swapnil's mother, Anita, shared that their family hails from Kambalwadi village in Kolhapur and that his passion for shooting started in Sangli. The family, including Swapnil's brother, celebrated with neighbors, expressing gratitude to all who supported the shooter. His victory follows the stunning achievements of Manu Bhaker in the Games.
