American coach Bob Bowman remains a force in the world of swimming, producing Olympic gold-medal winners who represent various nations. Currently, Frenchman Léon Marchand has clinched three gold medals this week at the Paris Olympics under Bowman's guidance and aims for a fourth in the 200 individual medley on Friday.

Bowman first gained fame through Michael Phelps, who won 23 Olympic golds and became a swimming legend. Adding to Bowman's roster of successes is Hungarian swimmer Hubert Kós, who won the 200-meter backstroke in 1 minute 54.26 seconds, surpassing Greece's silver medalist Apostolos Christou and Swiss bronze medalist Roman Mityukov.

Kós attributes his success to Bowman's rigorous training, which he previously experienced at Arizona State University and will continue at the University of Texas at Austin. “He doesn't really let us be second best,” Kós stated. As Bowman starts his new season at Texas, he continues to mold top-tier athletes, turning them into champions.
