India's Disappointing Athletics Show at Paris Games
India's national record holders Parul Chaudhary and Jeswin Aldrin failed to qualify in their respective events at the Paris Games. Parul ended her campaign finishing 21st in the women's 3000m steeplechase, while Aldrin finished 26th in the men's long jump. Both athletes fell short of their personal bests.
India's unimpressive performance at the Paris Games continued as national record holders Parul Chaudhary and Jeswin Aldrin failed to make the cut in their respective events.
Parul finished eighth in her heat race and 21st overall in the women's 3000m steeplechase, falling short of her season's best time.
Meanwhile, Jeswin Aldrin could not secure a place in the men's long jump final, completing his campaign with a 26th-place finish.
