Enea Bastianini of Ducati secured a dramatic win at the British Grand Prix held at Silverstone on Sunday. Bastianini crossed the finish line ahead of new world championship leader Jorge Martin and twice MotoGP champion Francesco Bagnaia, completing a stunning weekend performance.
Despite qualifying second on the grid, Bagnaia initially took the lead from pole-sitter Aleix Espargaro but was later involved in a fight for third place. With eight laps remaining, Martin overtook Bagnaia, appearing poised for victory, but a late error allowed Bastianini to seize the opportunity after starting from the third position.
