New Zealand's Lydia Ko and Switzerland's Morgane Metraux emerged as joint leaders after three rounds. Ko, a two-time Olympic medallist, shot a four-under 68, moving to nine-under overall. She aims to clinch the gold medal on Saturday to secure a full set of Olympic medals. Ko held a two-shot lead over USA's Rose Zhang and Japan's Yamashita Miyu.
Aditi found some respite with back-to-back birdies but faced further challenges with bogeys and a double bogey. Diksha also struggled with five bogeys and a double. Both athletes remain hopeful of a better performance in their final round.
