AC Milan Signs Defender Emerson Royal from Tottenham

AC Milan has officially signed Brazilian defender Emerson Royal from Tottenham Hotspur. The contract extends until June 2028, with a one-year extension option. Financial details were not disclosed, but reports estimate the deal at around €15 million plus €3 million in add-ons. Emerson has been capped 10 times for Brazil and has previously played for Barcelona and Atletico Mineiro.

The 25-year-old Brazilian international, who has earned 10 caps for Brazil, joined Tottenham in 2021 from Barcelona. Emerson has also played for Atletico Mineiro and began his career at Ponte Preta. He will don the number 22 shirt for Milan.
